Glencoe Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Annual Banquet Awards
Every year at our annual banquet, we recognize companies that have made an investment in the Glencoe community, either monetarily or by volunteering. Due to COVID-19, we were unable to recognize the recipients in-person at our banquet, so we’ve moved to a virtual platform. Please join us in recognizing all those who have made an impact and positive change in Glencoe this year!
We’ve also created a year-in-review document for 2020, to recap what we’ve accomplished, and thank our volunteers and sponsors. Click here to check it out.

Community and Chamber Volunteer Awards
We give two awards for volunteerism. One is for a person who has volunteered their time to help the community, and one for helping the Chamber staff.

Jenna Pariseau/State Farm Volunteer of the Year!
2020 Mike Popelka Chamber Volunteer – Jenna Pariseau, State Farm Insurance
This award is in memory of Mike Popelka, a past Chamber Member and recipient of the 2004 Chamber Volunteer of the Year, who embodied Chamber participation and community service. This year the award goes to Jenna Pariseau with State Farm Insurance. Jenna has served on the Chamber’s Community Event Organizers (CEO’s) Committee since 2009. She has faithfully helped with our Big Hitter Golf Outing, Seasonal Sampler, and our holiday events (plus the events we no longer have) by attending the regular meetings, running errands, and serving onsite. Jenna can always be counted on to serve. Thank you, Jenna!

Ryan Voss/RDV Construction Community Volunteer of the Year
2020 Community Volunteer – Ryan Voss, RDV Construction
This year’s recipient of the Glencoe Area Chamber of Commerce Community Volunteer of the Year award goes to Ryan Voss. Ryan has volunteered his time and talents for the betterment of our community. During the past couple years, he became involved with the newly formed Downtown Revitalization Committee (DRC). Whenever balls were dropped, he faithfully picked them up, handling the bids, labor, coordination, etc., making sure the project was completed. Especially regarding the alley between Gert & Erma’s and Home Solutions. There is now a nice seating area with a pergola. Ryan also helped with other beautification projects as well as painting the crosswalks on 11th Street and Greeley Avenue. In 2008, Ryan spent countless hours establishing the BMX Park. Ryan is a rare find! Thank you, Ryan, for all you do for Glencoe.
