Holiday Tour of Lights Map

The Chamber is having a Holiday Lighting Contest, sponsored by Glencoe Light & Power, starting on Friday, Dec 11 and going through Sunday Dec 13. The public is invited to vote for their top 3 favorite houses on our Facebook page. There are 17 houses entered in the contest. You have all weekend to choose and respond to our Facebook post with your top 3 choices by midnight on Sunday. We will announce the winners on Monday, December 14, 2020. The prizes are Glencoe Bucks which can be used at Chamber members and are just like a check. Prize money: 1st $200; 2nd $150; 3rd $50.

You will notice that each house has a number associated with it. That is the number you need to list on your Facebook post when voting for your favorite houses. The map numbers were put in a suggested tour order. You could start with #1 on the south side of town then follow the numbers on up to 14 and 15 on the north east corner. The very last house on the north side of the tracts (north of Coborn’s) is on Morningside number #16. Have fun checking out all the beautiful houses. The below photos of the houses are to help you locate the houses and remember which ones are your favorite. For the most part, the pictures do not encompass all that is in their yard.
