Community partnerships are what keep our county thriving. We’re proud to partner with local organizations and volunteers to provide area farmers with treats and goodies during harvest, as part of our Farm Fatigue program.
As part of a joint effort between the Glencoe Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce, 300 buckets are stuffed with goodies for area farmers to support them during harvest. With buckets donated by Miller Manufacturing, and a variety of snacks and goodies donated by local businesses, our six teams of two volunteers deliver a bucket to McLeod County farmers as a special thank you. As the program has grown, we’ve expanded to handing out both a bucket and a bag, as we’ve happily received so many donations for the buckets!
